Improvements
-
Improved management system audit log and event messages according to IEC 62443-4-2.
-
Improved ability to search for workloads deployed on a Node.
-
Node name added to deployment log output.
-
Added option to force approval of all remote connections on the Local UI.
-
Secure ID is displayed on the Local UI before the connection to the previous Management System is lost.
-
Improved the Nerve DNA-Feature.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where a double scroll bar would appear on tables in the Management System and in a Node's Local UI.
- Fixed an issue where the workload control page and the workload list in the node page were inconsistent in terms of workload status.
- Fixed an issue where the OpenSearch dashboard did not include the compose workload information.
- Fixed an issue where deploying a workload via the Local UI that does not exist in the Management System caused the workload to be unrecognized in Nerve DNA operations.
- Fixed an issue where the Apply configuration file interface would sometimes not update after adding a ZIP file, leaving the Apply button greyed out.
- Fixed an issue where if two deployments were started shortly one after each other, the second deployment could have a Done status, even though the deployment had not yet started.
- Fixed an issue where grouped Nodes were duplicated in the tree view in the Management System.
- Fixed an issue where workload deployments through Nerve DNA were not being tracked in audit logs.
- Fixed an issue where Ethernet port P1 was listed as the console port on the MFN200 device. This should be Ethernet port P3.
- Fixed a problem that prevented CODESYS from communicating with external devices via the management port.
- Fixed an issue where demo users were enabled in OpenSearch on the Management System.
- Fixed an issue where nodes with dedicated external network ports would require long network initialization times.
- Fixed an issue where failed VM workload uploads were not cleaned up by the Management System.
- Fixed an issue where on rare occasions after a reboot of the Management System, some nodes need up to one hour to come back online.
- Fixed an issue where the background would become grey when switching between Nodes in the Management System Node tree.
- Fixed an issue where the resource allocation parameter fields of VM workloads were not displayed properly.
- Fixed an issue where capabilities might be missing from the Node capabilities list in the Local UI after a reboot.
- Fixed an issue where producing a large number of logs in the Management System and the Node after removing a Node due to continuous reconnection attempts.
Known issues and limitations
- In rare cases, an error window may appear in the Connection Manager. The functionality of the Connection Manager is not affected by this.
- On rare occasions, a user may be logged out of the management system. The connection to the management system may be lost. A new login is required.
- A Node update might fail on Nodes with high CPU load. It is recommended to stop all workloads before update of the Node. This behavior occurs on previous Node versions.

Scaling and performance limitations
This release has been tested to perform within the following scaling boundaries:
Maximum number of concurrent devices | 200 |
Maximum number of concurrently logged in users | 5 |
Maximum workload size | 50 GB |
Maximum number of concurrent remote access sessions | 3 |
Maximum number of workloads in workload repository | 200 |
Maximum data upload per node | 5 datagrams per second with at least 10 sensor values for 200 nodes in parallel. |
