Release notes
This page contains a list of features, changes, known issues and known limitations of the Nerve releases.
Version 3.0.1
This version was released on September 26, 2025. Unless otherwise stated, all known issues and limitations of the previous version are still valid.
Improvements
- Added support for Secure Boot and Disk Encryption on Siemens Simatic BX39.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where installation of a node image in version 3.0.0 on an unused disk would fail.
- Fixed an issue where configuring an external port via the LocalUI was not working as expected.
- Resolved an issue that caused elevated jitter values in the CODESYS application and timing accuracy.
- Fixed an issue where modified network settings were reset after a node update and anode reboot.
Known issues and limitations
- In rare cases, the scroll area for remote connections of a node in the Management System may be displayed with an incorrect size.
- User passwords from previous Nerve versions might not be accepted after an upgrade. As a workaround, resetting the password resolves the issue.
